The idea of a car wash that comes to your house surprises a lot of people the first time they hear it. It sounds like a premium concierge service for celebrities. It's actually a practical, affordable, and increasingly common option for Bay Area homeowners — and it works exactly the way you'd imagine it does.
Here's what happens from booking to completion. You go to futurewash.com, pick your service (typically the Wash at Home program at $49/month), enter your address, and select any interior add-ons. That takes about two minutes. After signup, you get an onboarding call to set your route day — the recurring day of the month when your technician will arrive. After that, the program runs itself.
On your route day, you receive a text reminder. The technician arrives, parks near your vehicle — in the driveway, garage, or street — and gets to work. They bring every product and tool needed: professional-grade waterless wash formula, stacks of clean microfiber towels, wheel cleaner, glass cleaner, and interior products if you've added interior service. There's no hose, no water connection, and no mess. The only thing they need from you is access to the vehicle.
The wash takes 45–60 minutes for an exterior-only service or 90 minutes if you've added full interior. You don't need to be home. Most of our members are at work or inside their house when we arrive. When we finish, we send a completion photo so you know the car is done.
The practical details: we work in driveways, garages, covered parking structures, and street parking. We don't need a water source. We don't need an outlet. We just need a parking spot and access to the car. Apartments, condos, and townhomes are all regular stops on our routes.
If you've been meaning to wash your car for the past six weeks, a home car wash service might be the answer. The barrier to a clean car should not be finding time to drive somewhere. Book the program once and your car stays clean on a schedule someone else manages.
